About the PSKB / Terms of Use
There are plenty of ASCII charts on the net, but we could never find one that was in a format we liked, had all the information we wanted in one place, and could be easily (and legally) copied. The charts below have been designed so they can be cut and pasted into your script or program, and we hereby grant you permission to do so. Technical Note: In some situations the characters between hex $80 to $9F (decimal 127 to 159) are not supported. This situation arose because there was a danger that they might be mistaken for the control codes $00 to $1F (decimal 0 to 31) if the high bit was ignored. Thus, the values given below for $80 to $9F are sometimes considered "ISO-8859-1" and sometimes not. (ISO-8859-1 is, of course, a "standard", but what a standard says and what people actually do are two different things.)

PC-Extended ASCII Table
An older version of ASCII, used on DOS machines, is known as "PC-Extended ASCII". This provided an assortment of characters for drawing boxes, with some diacritical (accented) characters. These characters are available in the Unicode extensions of some current typefaces (such as Lucinda Console), but they are rarely used these days.

The PC-Extended ASCII character set looks like this:
